Open to all and free to attend conference and exhibition. Discuss the big questions and share ideas with forward-thinking peers and leading members of the Data community. Be in the vanguard of the data revolution, sign up to Big Data London and learn how to build a bright future for your business.
The days of simple corporate RDBMS and Data Warehousing architectures are over. Today's Big Data world, with its ever-increasing volume, variety and velocity of structured and unstructured data, requires a range of SQL, Hadoop, NoSQL, NewSQL, In-memory and other data storage and management systems. This seminar track examines on-premise and Cloud-based platforms and guides delegates on the best tools to harvest and manage a wide range of data feeds, from social media to the Internet of Things.
Business users and data analysts need to gain insight from a growing variety of data sources, many of them from outside their organisation. IT teams are undertaking data integration, cleansing and blending across an increasing range of disparate data streams and the pressure is on to do it in near real-time. Sessions in this track focus on the new generation of API management, ETL, data integration and preparation tools, which simplify and automate the task of melding and wrangling data into shape.
How can businesses mine the precious gems and nuggets of insight from the mountains of data they are accumulating? The stable world of BI has been transformed in recent years by a riot of innovation, enabling pioneering organisations to benefit from new self-service data visualisation tools, predictive analytics and machine learning tools. This seminar track provides an understanding of modern analytics tool categories so users can match their business needs with the most effective solutions.
Modern businesses are facing a rapidly growing ocean of data - some of it business-critical, some of it private, much of it irrelevant. How can IT and governance teams ensure that sensitive data is protected, whilst providing non-expert users with the data access they need? Where should data reside - on-premise or in the Cloud? How do enterprises comply with international data protection regulation whilst taking advantage of the revolution in Cloud, social and mobile data? This seminar track deals with all these questions and more.
