SPEAKER PROFILE

Tim Harford is a world-renowned behavioural economist, an award-winning Financial Times columnist, data detective and a BBC broadcaster. His broadcast work includes the Radio 4 shows ‘More or Less’ and ‘How to Vaccinate the World’, as well as the BBC radio series and podcast ‘Fifty Things That Made the Modern Economy’ and his own podcast ‘Cautionary Tales’. Tim’s award-winning FT columns focus on the economics of daily life. He then built upon these themes in his first book, ‘The Undercover Economist, ’ which went on to sell almost two million copies. Tim has since gone on to publish many books, where he finds fascinating explanations for everyday numbers. As a result, he has become one of the foremost writers in economics.
